JONESBORO — Bobby Lee Trammell, 74, of Jonesboro passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at his home.
Mr. Trammell was a former Arkansas state representative, a musician and a member of the Craighead County Quorum Court. He loved his job as a state representative, and he was active in the Democratic Party. He also served in the U.S. Army and had a love and talent for music.
He leaves behind his daughters, Patty Carpenter of Jonesboro and Sharon Wilson of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, Billy Max Trammell of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Lauren Carpenter and Blake Carpenter, both of Jonesboro, and Clay Wilson of Tallahassee; nephews, David Trammell, Jimmy Don Trammell and Roy Dale Davis; and nieces, Candy Lagomarcino, Sheila Throgmartin, Vicky Emerson and Debbie Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mae Carter Trammell; a brother, Dale Trammell; and a sister, Shirley Ann Davis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday in Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 10 a.m. with Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Ray Kidd, Keith Tharp, Clarence Dent, Tommy Glover, Jerry Allison, Judge Dale Haas and the Craighead County Quorum Court.
